Today in school we were told to make stories. We could write about anything we want. And here is my story (it is fiction), written by Brennan Ison, Age 8.

THINK IN YOUR MIND!
Stargate Sector 2-20982.
Floating along in space in our ship. No food. No water. Just us. But wait! What is happening? We are floating toward a comet! WE ARE GOING TO DIE! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
QUICK! Override the steering control to reverse! I got it. We are out of here! There goes the comet. But wait a second. I hear wind. A BLACK HOLE! AHHHHHHHHHH We can't get out of the suction....... The End.

Maglev Car
I Brennan Ison do declare a new invention in 2020. A Maglev Car. A car that runs on a magnetic field. The magnetic field on the car is just like on a Maglev Train. This is how it works:
It floats on a magnetic field to make it go forward. The magnets would be positive against positive. When the magnets are turned on and off it moves and I am going to attach the magnets to a car. The road will be the magnetic field just like the tracks on the Maglev Train. The car will have the same thing that is equal to the Maglev Train. The magnets will go on and off just like the Maglev Train. It turns by using a rudder and there would be a steering wheel as well. Goodbye gasoline! This would be environmentally friendly to our environment.
We would have a tower at our house that would be the control tower for the cars. Where I could monitor everything. There would be a plane that would take pictures and show me what is happening. To prevent accidents, there would be magnets all around the car and if two cars go too close together, the magnets would turn on and they would be positive and positive so they would push each other away. The sidewalk would be magnetic as well so the cars would bounce off that too. They would move safely at 400 MPH. The cars would have rotating seats so people could not feel the G Forces. The cars would accelerate at a slow speed so people couldn't feel the acceleration. There would be slow and high speeds just by setting the dials. The magnets would have a high and low switch. High would make the cars go fast and low would make the cars go slow. My tower would have all the controls. There would be no gasoline tanks on the cars. It would just have a speedometer.
There might be one problem. The magetic fields on the North and South Poles. There would be a dial at the tower and I would switch it to Level 5. This level would be strong enough to make the cars move but not upset the earth's magnetic field. If I switch it to 100 the earth would go into intense climate changes. The ice caps would melt and cities on the earth would flood and our town in KY would be in a new ice age. So that's why it has to stay on Level 5.
There would be solar powered traffic lights. Trucks would be magnetic too. How would trucks couple up to their cargo cars? There would be magnets and they would be positive and negative so they stick together!

Poems of Christmas
Day 1, Herbie "the elf" arrives, be on your best behavior and tell no lies.
Day 2, don't be blue, Santa will come, just for you!
Day 3, it's gotta be, the best day for you and me!
Day 4, kicking at the door, Santa will bring what I'm looking for.
Day 5 for my friend Joe, we are looking for lots of snow.
In the kitchen on day 6, we are fixin' up some cookie mix.
Christmas time on Day 7, the real reason is up in heaven.
Day 8, it's slowing down, Santa will be here in Christmas town.
Day 9, feeling fine, on top of the tree is a great big shine!
Day 10 has just begun, Christmas fun for everyone.
Santa is getting near, Day 11 brings lots of cheer.
Candy Candy everywhere, on Day 12 there is joy in the air.
It's not unlucky #13 because our star brings lots of glean.
Day 14, eleven days left, bring in the tree with lots of heft.
Cookie and cakes by the tree, on Day 15, treats for you and me.
Day 16, stringing the lights, there's lots of stuff, it's very nice.
Day 17, Christmas is getting closer, I know this because it's on my poster.
Day 18 making Reindeer food, every day closer, gets me in the mood.
Excitement on Day 19 is in the air, look out the window, we're almost there!
Visiting family on Day 20, I sure hope my grandma has lots of money!
Day 21, it's getting near, when Santa comes, have no fear.
Day 22 has just begun, your holiday cheer is going to be fun.
2 days left on Day 23, we will open our presents under the tree.
1 day left on the 24, Christmas presents have lots of galore.

My cat Dora the Explorer
I really wanted a cat, almost as much as I wanted my Casey dog, which you have seen on my other blog. When I was little I likethe show dora and that's how we named our cat Dora. When I was at Shawna's I asked for this kind of cat which was black and white. So she let us have her. Over the years she has grown and now she is 5 years old. Dora lives outside so she can explore. She is an outside cat. Everytime I open the door, she doesn't come in.
Dora likes to cuddle with us and catches mice and moles sometimes. Last time when Dora killed a mouse, we had to bury him. We had a funeral.
Dora and Casey try to get a long. I know some day they will become friends. Right now Dora lives on the front porch and Casey is on the back porch. They are separated and our living room is the thing that separates them, like the Atlantic Ocean separates North America away from Africa.
Every time when I open the door she comes and when I sit on the step, she purrs on me. I love my cat with all my heart and my dog.

Casey Jones my dog
I really wanted a dog. One day when me and daddy were playing with the dogs. I saw one kind of dog that was black and white and had blue eyes. When me and my mommy were in Lexington going to watch a movie called Despicible Me, we were thinking of going to the pet store and then we were thinking what we should name a dog. Then soon I had an idea, I said Casey Jones and then we decided to name our dog Casey. When there was a rain storm, we saw a package, when we opened it, there was my dog I wanted. I said, Casey, welcome to your new home. We saved her life from the shelter and now she is my dog for ever.
My dog is a bit crazy. Every time I call her like this, "Casey, (whistle) (clap)" she comes really fast. And when I run, she speeds up. She's really fast. She likes to jump on my brother and bite him on his diaper. I hope Casey doesn't eat his diaper. That would be so gross. When Casey gets happy to see us, she pees everywhere. She peed on my foot one time. It was so gross. I had to wash my foot and my shoes.
Casey likes to eat dog food. The usual. But she also likes to eat leftovers and dog treats and the grossest thing of all, pigs ears! Thats all.

Airplane Crashes?!?!?!
An airplane crashed in my backyard! It was AMAZING!
I was in my mommy and daddy's room watching a GeoTrax movie on the computer. My little brother was with me. There was a big BOOM sound and my daddy rushed to see what it was. It was an airplane UPSIDE DOWN! My mommy and daddy went outside the next day with a tape measure. My mommy thought it was 30 feet away from the house but after they measured it, it was 48 1/2 feet from our house. It was cushioned by trees and our log pile saved the lives of the people that were inside the plane.
Guess What! The news people came out and interviewed me on the video camera and I think someday it will be on TV. We saw the plane was on the news at it was cool.
Here are some good tips if a plane crashes in your yard:
1. Get under your bed and wait for the plane to crash safely.
2. If the plane is leaking gasoline, get a fire extinguisher.
3. Call 911
4. Help anyone that is hurt.
5. See if anybody is hurt.
6. If they are hurt a bit, treat them nicely with some soup and bread.

A person with little bolts in her face
I saw a lady with bolts on her skin. They were around her cheek. She put them in her face to look pretty at the party. She had 3 bolts. They were gray in color. She will get them off soon. When the party is over.
I don't want to have bolts in my face because it would be painful.
They screw the bolts in and when they are done, they screw them out.
The bolts made her look cool.
Please do not try this at home.
