Black Holes

Black Holes are big holes that are black. Nothing can escape it, even light! Black Holes are outside of our Milky Way. Black Holes can suck up anything in its way. Scientists don't know what is at the end of a Black Hole. Some believe that Black Holes bring you to alien planets or take you to another dimension. It can take you to the future or the past or B.C. Black Holes are scary.

A Worm Hole is a thing that worms could travel through. You would need a big worm, but that couldn't be real. Worm Holes are a real thing in space. First you go through them, then "BOP" you are out the other end. Then you go back in and "POP" you are out of the Worm Hole. Worm Holes are different from Black Holes because they go through a tube thing through a small thing and you go out an end that looks like a trumpet.

Spiral Galaxies
Spiral Galaxies are different from Black Holes. Only Spiral Galaxies spin around and Black Holes only suck like a vaccuum cleaner. You can get lost in a Spiral Galaxy. They are made of gas and dust and our Milky Way is a Spiral Galaxy. The most spectacular galaxies are Spiral. They spin around like giant whirlpools, spreading their stars into trailing arms. The oldest stars end up in a dense central hub. The sprial arms contain young stars, pink neublas, and gas and dust. Spiral Galaxies are disk shape so they appear flat if we look at them from the side. Spiral Galaxies are cool!

I like space stuff because it's awesome and incredible. I have a telescope that I won from Cub Scouts from selling popcorn. I use my telescope to see things far away. We can only use my telescope when the weather is nice and there are no clouds in the night sky. My favorite thing to look at in the telescope is the moon. It has lots of craters, Sea of Crises, Sea of Serenity, Sea of Nectar. It even has a footprint on it from an astronaut. Sometimes there is a solar eclipse. After first contact it takes about an hour for the moon to completly cover the sun. Day turns into night. Stars and planets appear.

Mercury, Venus, earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are the planets.

These planets have moons:
Jupiter has 36 moons, Earth has 1 moon, Pluto has 1 moon (Charon), Saturn, Uranus, Mars has 2 moons, Neptune 8 moons (Triton is the largest). I don't think Mercury and Venus have moons.

I hope you don't get into any dangerous places folks. And remember, don't try this at home!
